Participation & Approval Policy

Participation in Women Like Me books, podcast episodes, and related opportunities is not guaranteed.

All submissions, applications, and guest appearances are reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of Julie Fairhurst and the Women Like Me team.

We reserve the right to:

  • Accept or decline any submission or application

  • Edit content for clarity, length, and alignment with our standards

  • Determine final inclusion in books, publications, and podcast episodes

Our intention is always to maintain the integrity, safety, and quality of the Women Like Me platform.

Media Release & Consent

All selected participants will be required to sign a media release form prior to:

  • Book publication

  • Podcast recording and distribution

  • Use of name, voice, image, and written content

This ensures clarity, consent, and protection for all parties involved.

Content Responsibility

Participants are responsible for the accuracy and ownership of the content they submit.

By participating, you confirm that:

  • Your story is your own and does not violate the privacy or rights of others

  • You have permission to share any identifiable details included

  • Women Like Me is not liable for any claims arising from submitted content

Editing & Creative Direction

Women Like Me reserves the right to:

  • Make light edits for grammar, readability, and formatting

  • Maintain the overall tone and integrity of the publication or episode

No Guarantee of Results

Participation may provide visibility and exposure, but:

  • Results (sales, followers, clients, etc.) are not guaranteed

  • Each participant is responsible for how they leverage the opportunity

Community Guidelines & Access

Women Like Me is a space built on respect, honesty, and support.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Remove or restrict access to the community

  • Decline or revoke participation in books, podcasts, or programs

  • Remove content that does not align with our values or guidelines

This may occur without notice if behavior is deemed:

  • Harmful, disrespectful, or disruptive

  • In violation of privacy or safety

  • Misaligned with the integrity of the Women Like Me community
